Kentucky Association of Fairs & Horse Shows Pageant Eligibility Requirements:
- Contestant must be a natural-born female, single, married, divorced, or widowed, and can have children. A birth certificate is required.
- Contestant must be 22 years of age on October 31st of the year when the local pageant is held at the local fair. Contestant may not compete in any other pageant system that would prohibit the fulfillment of responsibilities through the state during her reign as Ms./Mrs. Kentucky County Fair.
Ms./Mrs. Daviess County Pageant Information
- This pageant is open to residents of ANY county, and the highest-scoring contestant will represent the fair at the Kentucky County Fair pageants in January 2026!
- Ms & Mrs Daviess County are the highest scoring Daviess County residents, and serves as our local titleholders.
- If the highest scoring contestant is a Daviess County resident they will be crowned Ms/Mrs Daviess County Fair, and the second highest scoring Daviess County resident will be crowned Ms/Mrs Daviess County.
- The pageant will be held at Bittel Hall at the Daviess County Fairgrounds on Friday, June 27th at 6 pm.
- We ask you arrive no later than 5:30 pm to check in.
- The pageant will run concurrently with the Miss pageant.
- Due to dressing space limitations, we kindly request only one person per contestant in the backstage areas.
- Door entry is $10 (children 5 and under are free).
- A detailed itinerary, parking instructions, contestant numbers, stage details, etc. will be emailed out following the entry deadline.
Ms./Mrs. Daviess County Pageant Format & Scoring
- Opening number & Introduction – 40%. Cocktail attire. Have fun with your introduction, but please stick to around 20 seconds or less.
- Evening gown- 50%. Walking pattern of your choice. We will read from your bio.
- On stage question- 10%. The question is contestant specific, prepared ahead for each contestant based on their bio. They won’t be as simple as “tell me about…”, but they are custom made just for you- so no major surprises!

How to Enter in Two Easy Steps
- Pay a $65 entry fee by the deadline. Venmo @Haley-London.
- Email your photo & the following information/questions to haleylondonberry@gmail.com by the deadline. Please enter in the subject line “Ms/Mrs DC” and the contestant’s name. The photo goes with your bio in the judges’ books but is not judged, and does not have to be a professional headshot. Include your answers in the body of the email, take up as much space as you would like, and don’t worry about formatting, as we will be copying everything into a standardized template for the judges’ book. Do worry about your spelling and grammar, we will not edit.
